My DJ Philosophy
My clients tend to understand the importance of hiring the right entertainment and want to be involved in making the decisions that will make their event fun and unique. My job is to use my experience to help them turn their wishes into an event that will be talked about for years to come.

Professionalism
To me, professionalism means being an entertainer who acts appropriately during an event. The wrong entertainer could easily ruin an event by acting inappropriately. I believe most wedding receptions are meant to be formal events, so part of my appropriate behavior includes things like:

• Formal Attire (Black Tuxedo)
• Avoiding being the "center of attention"
• No props or gimmicks
• No vulgar language (either from me or the songs)
• Music volume kept at an acceptable but fun level
• No "surprises" that haven't been approved by the Bride or Groom
  

Flexibility
My goal is to be the primary entertainment choice for people who love music. Many of my clients use their reception (or other event) to share music with their friends and family. I offer the option to customize all aspects of my services to meet the specific tastes of my clients. This includes the ability to search through my music collection and make selections for all the music to be played or not to be played. My job is to help blend the selections into a mix that will entertain guests as well as keep the dance-floor full. I will make suggestions based on my experience, but I never tell clients what they have to do, I'm there to help them create a special day and I respect their wishes.

Experience
Having a lot of DJ experience means more than knowing when to play Frank Sinatra or when to play Snoop Dogg, those lessons are pretty easy to learn. What my experience has truly taught me is the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. This can include anything from power outages to last minutes event changes. I work extremely hard to anticipate potential issues and make sure I have the proper equipment and time to deal with those problems. This includes setting up early and having the right backup equipment at each and every event to deal with any challenges before any guests arrive.

I strive to be the DJ each client would be if they could do it themselves. I consider how I would want things to be handled if it were my event. I take each event as seriously as the client does. I love playing such an important part of people's celebrations. While being a DJ is a lot of fun, it's aslo a responsibility that I take extremely seriously.
